Thanks for the information and inspiration from Lumberjock extraordinaire, Mark Decou, I also took the handmade pledge. Read Marks post on the subject, its a good read. (go ahead, I’ll wait.) ... Just wanted to share the inspiration I got from my friend Barb… She’s offering up some handmade love, in return for paying it forward… and I’m happy to see others have taken the ball and run with it. Part 3: Sold on Etsy

I stuck my toe in the Etsy waters some months back… just to see what would come of it. It seemed a better idea to partner with my 30 projects in 30 days ventures than posting in albums on facebook. So, the granddaddy of all Craft Fairs hits NH this weekend, and for once we’re going without an empty wallet! (cause we planned for it, not cause we’re rolling in the dough). Buying handmade (and sharing the love) reminded me of Marks old post on the subject, and in light of the upcoming fair, and my plans to continue to have “a very homemade Christmas” I thought a revisit to the wise words of our resident Lumberjock extraordinare was timely. — Crossposted...
