I FOUND SOME VERY OLD SAWS AT A BARN SALE IN MASSACHUSETTS 1. A 28 INCH LAME & McNIESE RIP SAW STRAIGHT BACK WITH NIB AND TOE 5 POINT STAR MEDALLION ITS READS #7 4/1 SCREWS I BELIEVE FROM THE 1860’S 2.G.H. BISHOP & CO WITH MEDALLION HARD TOO READ BLADE #3 IS A W.HOPE & CO IT SAYS SHEFFIELD CAST STEEL NO MEDALLION LOW ROUNDED TOE WITH 5 SCREWS #4 A DITTSON 28 INCH RIP SAW STRAIGHT BACK 4/1 SCREWS TOE AND NIB LITTLE PIECE MISSING ON HANDLE BLADE NEEDS CLEANING SOME ENGRAVING VISIBLE LOOKS LIKE EER STAMPED IN HANDLE CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TOO CLEAN THESE SAWS AND IF THERE JUST JUNK OR SHOULD I BOTHER
