I am a woodworker, educator and the author/ publisher of "Build A Maloof Inspired Rocker with Charles Brock."

In October of 2010, I will open the Southeastern School of Woodworking Arts. The initial class schedule will provide hands-on instruction for students
building the Maloof Inspired rocker and low-back dining chair.

My latest project consists of a new Maloof Inspired instructional bundle titled "Build A Maloof Inspired Low Back Dining Chair with Charles Brock."

My woodworking started in 1979. My commissions include many tables, beds and chests in my early years before I started building chairs. My interest led me to build a Sam Maloof Inspired Rocker. My thirty years as an educator fit well with the opportunity to teach the rocker in the very class room Sam had taught in many times. My joy has been teaching this chair to hundreds of fine woodworkers all over the world who dreamed of making a Maloof Inspired rocker.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
