arrrg WBBN and his finishing Bench! I was going to have the day off too! Well I guess I needed to upgrade anyway. Well its November and I am back home once again.Partly being able to stay at anthm27’s instead of 14 days in a motel (on my own)Anyway I got a lot done between the heat, had to put up a shelter to be able to work. Did a bit of research on half lap joints for the edging. Found these Jigs. Part 3: Out of the clamps and Raw finishing

Well I didn’t do too much today, un clamped everything and did some squareness checks. Side 1 Side 2 Side 3 there is about 3mm of out of square, I can only assume this is so because I have extended the fence out to its max. and opposite I needed to remove the out of square and did so by a off cut of wood as a shim taped to the edge and then carefully resawing both sides This corrected it as much as I was game to do. OK lets put this puppy to bed. Mainly sanding and sealing work What the top side looks like sealed and prior to 40g sanding What the under side looks like, ( and I am not sanding that) What the half lap miters look like First sand at 60g Second seal Out with the old In with the new That’s all Folks!
