OK lets put this puppy to bed.

Mainly sanding and sealing work

What the top side looks like sealed and prior to 40g sanding

What the under side looks like, ( and I am not sanding that)

What the half lap miters look like

First sand at 60g

Second seal

Out with the old

In with the new

That’s all Folks!

However I am thinking of making a tool shelf below the top,... we will see what develops but for now its done.

Not really a project apart from practicing the joints so this is the end.

Tools used

Timber used

I am saying its Yellow Stringy Bark a good solid Aussie hardwood.

Phewie its very hot…and I think I hear a beer calling me!

Looking great Rob,
Turned out great.
Half Lap Mitres with the rounded corners look tops.

Good to see someone getting something done in this heat.
We’ve had 35, 38 & 39 today.
That’s too blinkin hot for November

Its 15:38 here and still 31 deg Wed expected to be 34 !

guess who was out digging rotten fence posts today.

Had a call from Crowie so it prompted me to reply to all the nice comments

Pottzy: I regularly have wine and cheese nights here, wining about what cheezes me off in life!

Dave P: got the K1100 out to go for a run and the battery is RIP bloody hell I need to sell that monster!
