Starting Bench Top Part 1
arrrg WBBN and his finishing Bench!
I was going to have the day off too!
Well I guess I needed to upgrade anyway.
Even LBD suggested it was a Festool Look alike, but I think he may have been trying to take the Micky actually
So I set to work.
Had a few pallet bit left over from my Smiths Chips days when I actually got paid for doing wood work.
these are 1100Ă—150 x 25 mm Hardwood planks of some species, possibly Yellow stringy bark not really sure.
Cut them into lengths of 850mm or there about
Eyeballed them and marked them up for jointing.
then ran then through the thicknesser
ripped them parallel with the table saw
Laid them out and marked them up for biscuits, as it was morning tea time.
fired up my truty Biscut jointer
hauled out my clamp collection
Inserted No 20 biscuits and TB III
checked all were in their correct positions
Skulked off and went to check what was happening on LJ's
Standby for the next part as I am of to Ant Mans farm then Sydney for another container of bikes to unpack with No 1 Son
Be back soon (Nov) for the continuing story about the finishing opps starting table saga!
try not to miss me too much guys!.... especially corelz125!
