As you may know I an in Sydney with No 1 son attempting to shorten my life span by riding his ebikes out the back of Menai.

After about four stacks I hobbled home to lick my wounds, suffering from many cuts scratches and general body beat ups.

I took more the the expected 24 Hrs I have been used to when I was in the ARMY so I may have to cut back a bit.

Well the container of bikes have been unpacked assembled road tested registered and sold and are on their way to their new owners.

Here are a few shots of the areas we were riding in

After all that it was time to go visit No 2 sons place

Now you may remember the underground “bunker” I helped him build, here it is finished

Now a bit of a blast from the past about 30 years ago I built this Chest of Drawers for the kid s clothes.

I has reappeared in my Son’s store room for electrical items in 2020.

Pine and Ply construction has withstood the passing of time well so I thought it was worthy of a mention

a few bits off here and their otherwise still fully functional.

Thats all from me back home to Brisbane Tue or Wed and no doubt you will be hearing more from me then.

-- Regards Rob

Nice one Rob,
The Bunker turned out great. Nice and dry in there it seems. Seems you got the water proofing correct.

Old blokes along with bumps, scratches and bruises don’t go too well together.
Same as over 60’s and ladders are a big NO, NO!!
Now I’m curious as to these ebikes??
The bunker looks good, WOW I’d love that sort of setup under my place.
Have a safe trip home with a safe border crossing and 14 day quarantine.

Yes Dick your statement i s correct

OK a bit of a plug for my son

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=aebikes
don’t squeal on me to Cricket please!

Then in the USA it think its Luna Cycles for you guys

https://lunacycle.com

Yes Adam bought a container full, a total of about 32 bikes and spare parts about 50% were sold upon loading and the remainder sold over the convit19 delays before actual delivery. A second shipment is due in Jul but will realistically be possibly Aug, they are all sold already. Then another in Sept of which orders are filling fast.

We had intended to return to brisbane with some and to set up an agency there for local supply in Brisbane and to keep me amused but unexpected sales put a stop to that, maybe now late 2020.

Crowie

Yeah Pete I hear you need to get the brain in tune with the body.

I can check with Adam and see who has one around the Blue Mountains area if you interested in taking a look.
I have QLD road border passes with me so I should be OK.

Those ebikes sound interesting, do they run on standard or will they take Premium 95%? Bet you were running on 98% when it got out of control and bucked you off with a ”b” or was it up with a ”f”!

Hope you used good disinfectant before you started the licking or did you keep social distancing.
