My drill press is the third bench top tool I bought for my shop. For the price range I think it was a great buy. Out of the box it assembled easily and has served me well. The cross hair laser is helpful for hitting the mark and the on/off switch is right in the front for immediate access. Speed changes are made by moving the drive belt up or down a pair of stepped pulleys. The square table has slots to allow attachment of hold downs or a table. Unfortunately this very nice bench top drill press with twin laser guides has a few glitches.The table platform will not tighten no matter how tight you turn the crank. number two the belt adjustment does not move. So what looked promising and great value for a wood shop was returned to factory for replacement for the upgraded 02 model. I must say that Bosch who owns Skill acknowledged the problem and are sending me the return stiicker, no hassle. Getting back to the press, for normal DIY woo...
