Decided to write this review because I bonked my head on the bench again while bending over to pick up a chisel that had rolled to the floor again. The steel in these chisels is nice. And socket chisels are good in that it’s easy to remove and replace the handles, which I find I have to do with all of the smaller sizes (anything smaller than 1/2 inch) which tend to roll away if placed on a surface that isn’t completely level. I tried one 1/2” chisel to see what the brand was all about. Now I have a 5 pc set with 2 skews and a fishtail. And a few planes as well. they take an edge and hold it well. I have no complaints about the tool or the price

This past Christmas I put the Lie Nielsen bevel edge socket chisels on my Santa Please Get Me List. Between my wife and mom I got 5….....of the O1 chisels. My bad, I should have been more specific. Well, not just any chisel, a Lie-Nielson bevel edge socket chisel! Looking through the offerings at my local Woodcraft one evening, I spotted a beautiful set of chisels in a leather roll. Asking the salesman to open the case, I had a closer inspection. The feel was perfect, no uncomfortable bandings and they balance so well. The roll had 5 chisels in the set, with the smallest being 1/8”. Considering I do a considerable about of 1/8” inlay, I really liked these. I was taken aback ...
