These hand saws are from Traditional Woodworker, a store based in Texas. You can buy either separately but you get a discount if you buy them as a set. They are labelled “Made in Germany” but otherwise have no markings. The handles look to be Beech and have simple steel hardware. If I had to choose my favourite between the two, it would be the rip saw had no problems with red oak and easily chews through douglas fir. I purchased 6 chisels of this set. I was looking for a set of chisels that were in inches and not metric conversion like most of the chisels out there. My current set of Marples/Irwin/blue handled chisels have been good to me but are not real hard and keeping them sharp has been an issue. So, I bought the 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and 5/8” chisels since these were the sizes that I will use the most. The way they are labeled is also nice and readable. These chisels, like all the r...
