When I decided to get a track saw, I began to review parallel guides. I looked at the Woodpeck, the TSO and the Festool options. Ultimately, I chose Woodpeck. Here is the system. If you want to see it neatly packaged in the Systainer, look at the Woodpeck site. The key to its accuracy is the position of the first arm—or rail—in the connector, and is not something you want to have to do every time you use the guide. I almost ordered some of these today, but didn’t when I saw they wanted to charge thirteen bucks for shipping two of them. Later, going through my jig supplies, there they were. These things are small. Very small. So small, they wouldn’t break the one ounce mailing barrier. Still, it would have cost thirteen dollars to ship them. Did I mention that yet? To be fair, they are very handy critters to have around, since they do their assigned task well, which is to fit in T tracks...
