This book published by Scribner presents the idea that human pre-history went through an Age of Wood comparable to the Stone Age, Bronze Age, or Iron Age. Wood has often been overlooked by archeologists because artifacts of wood do not survive for thousands of years like the other materials, but have played a similar, vital role in the development of civilization. 318 pages including notes and references.

-- Phil Allin - There are woodworkers and people who collect woodworking tools. The woodworkers have a chair to sit on that they made.

Hate reading so I may never be enlightened…

However, does it mention that all the single cavemen had balsa clubs?

So why the 3 star rating? I take it you weren’t that impressed with the book.
