There have been several updates to sketch up since 2010. Perhaps just not for Mac?

Go to their website or click the check for updates and see if there is something newer for your machine. Lots of LJs still using sketchup.

A while ago google sold SketchUp to Trimble, so maybe you’re looking in the wrong place?

Thanks for this info, particularly to “Mosquito”. Went to Trimble’s site where I found a 2017 version of SU for Mac. Their blurb said it was El Capitan compatible.
The problem with Outliner is gone—works as it should.

Many thanks!

You have your fix, thought I’d still answer the question because it’s important. Plus I was already on your page.

It saves a lot of tedious calculation. You can click and drag shapes to fit your eye then extract the dimensions when you’re done. I don’t bother drawing in coping or router details. I use the cutlist tool (separate download using addin menu).

I keep up with the annual free release. It only takes a second to accept and download and renew.
