Bummer on the damage. Good news is that it doesn’t look like any pieces are missing and I don’t see any splintering. From the pics, I’d say it will likely glue back together and the seam will only be obvious if you know it’s there. I’d try clamping it without glue first and see if it looks like it will “heal” up nicely. If so, I’d mix a dark dye in with the wood glue just to help hide the glue line a bit, get as much glue in there as you can and clamp it up to cure. Glue squeeze out should clean up easily since the wood is finished.

For the two small dents, steaming may help them some? Really not sure, there may not be any good cure for those.
