What cfm dust collector are you using?

I had a Woodmaster sander and I don’t
recall the rollers getting dusty. I used
it with a 3hp dust collector.

Welding with a wire feed welder is pretty
easy.

CFM from cyclones relative to HP is a lot
less than what I used on mine, and
yours is wider.

Drum sanders vary in how much they can
take off in a pass, from almost nothing
to a little more than almost nothing. This
limitation makes drum sanding maddeningly
slow. You may be taking off more wood
than your dust collection can handle.
