Hitachi siding compond miter saw noise -Solved

The screw that goes in the arbor end gets hot? This is the screw that retains the blade? If it’s getting hot, the blade is slipping. The screw is not tight enough and the blade is slipping on the arbor. I use an impact wrench on mine.

Now that you said it when I took the blade off list night it wasn’t very tight. I will tighten it tonight and retest. Do you think that could also be the noise?

Did you notice the blade not braking after the cut? This definitely means loose blade. Hope thats all you have. You do not need to crank the cr p out of the arbor screw, just get it tight. If it happens again condider a blade stabilizer.

A loose blade could easily be causing the squeal.

Thanks guys tightening the blade really good seems to have fixed it.
