Pretty tight. It’s gonna get warm. It’s been hard to do what I’d consider over tightening on my machines. I’d have to use a cheater bar or something.

As long as you don’t smell hot rubber when you are running it I think the belt is probably cool enough.

OK that is good to hear, before changing out that top pulley the belt flapped and chattered a lot. Tight, it runs much smoother.
