Titebond Hide Glue, no more expiration date?

I never gave the Titebond version any credibility. Patrick Edwards’ Old Brown Glue is the standard. I make my own using the same techniques he does (I buy my dry glue from him), but if you want something ready to use in a bottle, his is the way to go.

It may just be a missed date, but you can call Franklin and ask. If you think it’s fresh stock, write the date of purchase on it and don’t worry (for 12 months or so). The other bottle should probably be pitched or used on some unimportant stuff, like gluing paper together.
