Hey man. There’s one in the woodcraft catalogue. I think it’s only for dates and might only be useable with their iron. Hope this helps.

Chad, good to hear from you again. Yeah, the Woodcraft option is best for me, given the price.

Thanks too, to CharlesA. I’m saving your link because I plan to get some custom irons for various projects, and they look like a quality outfit. But, whew, for just a date, I’ll look into the Woodcraft product.

For under $200 you can get a 1600mw laser that will engrave anything you type or download. It supports most fonts standard & custom.

I went the laser route too. Mine was $226 shipped but I think mine is a lot bigger than madmark and it’s the 2500 mw. I too was looking at branding irons for a makers mark then saw some of the guys point out small lasers just for that. Then showed the wife and she said “get a bigger laser” so I did.

This is what I bought. Couldn’t be happier. Even if it’s cheap Chinese lasering.
