The IBC breakers have tabs riveted to the breakers that extend in the blade screw slot.

If I built that out with JB Weld, I’d loosen the lever cap before I made the adjustments. You could JB Weld patches of steel to the breaker to have metal on metal. I’d wondered if you couldn’t just tap the yoke tip, drive in a small machine screw and file the head square. Haven’t had to do any of those.
