Appreciate the compliments means a lot coming from you guys. This was what I consider my first “major” furniture project. I learned a lot from several mistakes and got a lot of good experience. First time veneering cockbeading.

Danish oil + Wax. I thought about oil + shellac, but by the time I got to that point I really wanted to get it done and do it simply. I was too scared to do anything else!!

Although I live in Florida, I was fortunate that the hardwood supplier I use just happened to have an order of rough 4/4 Pennsylvania cherry. It was actually a wrong order (they only carry S3S) and it was slated to send back. After a little chatting, the owner agreed to sell me what I needed for $4/BF (can you believe it?) I over bought, but now I with I had gotten more

That beading around the drawers is a great detail. Makes the already fantastic grain of the drawer fronts really pop!
