Seriously??
A man of you skill and knowledge can’t look at this and figure out how to build it?

You have a picture of it & you still need plans? You wanna pay me to AutoCAD it for you?! I’ll get you started – the legs are 1-1/2” square – get out your dividers and have at it!

If you all don’t know if there are plans for this just say you don’t know. Better yet say nothing.

Called a standing desk.

As for just using my brain to do a sketch up…...haven’t needed to draw a plan in a long time…
You might get a hold of him over at his new haunts, @ The Patriot Woodworker. He has found a new home there, since Wood Online is shutting down their forums. Doesn’t hurt to ask,,,nicely. Try it sometime…..

You merely asked where to get the plans. I tried to help you along. Attitude does wonders when one wants to be helped…...

Then why is everyone acting so superior hinting that your so much better that someone else because they want plans.

I kind of expected from Jbay but not the others.

No matter if the plans are for someone else, you don’t have the skills to make a working sketch from that!

Thanks for trying to help. I have been there and didn’t find any plans. I have found places that say they have the plans but then get redirected to Teds woodworking plans. I was hoping to find a detailed set of plans that relatively new woodworker could follow.

Thanks again.

LOL ;)

My first comment was actually a compliment, I guess you didn’t see it that way.
The Ted mention was jokingly, but we’ve mentioned your sense of humor before so it’s no surprise.
I’m still smiling!

Didn’t Norm make something like that on NYW? If he did, they sell the measured drawings.

I have an idea for your friend. One of the things that Norm did was to measure one (with permission) from a store or museum. Then he made one out of MDF or other inexpensive wood. Once he got it the he wanted, he took it apart and made it from the good wood. There were a few times that he even stated that he made some changes to his from the original for strength and look – but this is how he got what he wanted.

One of the few issues that I had with NYW was that he used other people’s furniture – except the cabinetry. There he added what he liked to the mix.

3/4 of wood working is figuring out how to make what you (and/or the customer) wants – then do it. I think that this is what some of the posts above were trying to say.

My wife has three binders of stuff she wants me to make – I would need a 10,000 sq ft house for all of it. I told her that in pieces that I make, they would be different from the pictures, strictly for copyright reasons. So, you really don’t want to make exact and faithful reproductions – unless you label it so.

Just a thought.

@AlaskaGuy, I’d be interested in plans too if you come across any. It’s almost like a podium or lectern sort of thing but it’s hard to get a scale or perspective from the picture. Good find.
