Sourcing hard to get Burl woods

I have bought some off of e-bay but rarely are there good deals to have. If I hear a chainsaw in the neighborhood, which is almost every other day I go to investigate and look for burls. They are glad to cut them up for you.

That’s a good idea Dave. I’m sure a lot of perfectly good maple burls are used as firewood around these parts.

Any time you buy lumber at a good price and store it in your shop it’s an investment from my standpoint.
