customdept,

I am just a hobbyist with a little down time, so I checked and conclude that $12,000 for the used sliding panel saw is quite high. I found one new Robland E300 Sliding Panel Saw on ebay for £2,000.00. I am sure shipping and perhaps export and import duties could add to the price. Since the current conversion of pound to dollar is 1.31 per U.S. Dollar, the £2,000.00 is $2620.

I have to believe there are several manufactures of quality industrial sliding panel saws. Before shelling out $12,000, spending some time researching the market could yield a better and perhaps new saw. One site I found is

Not sure I helped much. Good luck in your purchasing decision.

I’ve got an Altendorf F-90 in the Chicago area that I’m willing to sell. I need the floor space back and that machine consumes a lot. PM me if you’re close enough to have an interest and I’ll send details.
