There’s a reason you hear good things about them: they are extremely well made. When I had a day job we kept a group of sheet metal workers on site to do the numerous jobs we always had for that craft. They all used Metabo grinders; when i asked the site supervisor about them he told me they would go through a Milwaukee in about 6 months (this was with heavy daily use), but some of the Metabos were over three years old and hadn’t failed. My personal (home use) grinder is a Milwaukee, but if I used one a lot, it would be a Metabo.
