Man if you said 600 not 6000 you hit the loto. If it was 6000 you still done very well, congrats and you suck (that seems to be an appropriate response here on LJ when someone is jealous)

A shop full of tools for $600 is definitely a jackpot!’s one hell of a blessing.

Yeah it was $600. I most definitely do not have 6000 to be dropping on tools.

A good portion of those I have no use for, but I should be able to sell them and buy things I do want/need, put towards rent, etc.

Its always nice to hear when the retired people pass on a good deal to someone starting up .
IF I ever retire I am handing everything over to my nephews. One is definately interested, other is trying !
I know my tools are old. BUT they do the job !
Hopefully some of his tools will work for you. $600 is a great buy !
