They look big & heavy. The smaller vise with a set of plastic jaws is handy.

Mostly I use a straight edge with a knob for a clamp riding on the press table instead of a vise. Much easier to drill rows of holes that way. It also works for fast setup for production runs.

This acts as an anti-rotation stop as well.

If I need a length stop block, a quick clamp & scrap of wood are always at hand.

You shouldn’t need the tilting vise if you DP table tilts instead.

I found that X/Y vises have too much backlash for repeatable work.

Naturally this assumes you are mostly drilling wood.
