That was kind of them. Here in N.C. we have an endangered woodpecker and an owl cant remember the names. When they find them no logging within so many miles cant use chain saws within so many miles. People get all pissed off but you got to protect the environment. when you kill off one species there’s that ripple effect that’s gonna cause serious problems, don’t understand people. +1 on both points,woodpeckers in and around my house are so timid I have a hard time catching them in the act to take a couple of pictures but you can always hear them in the background , so far they have left a few reminders that they have been there. Great birds. -- Ken from Ontario, Canada |
