I will start…

I own one of these and they are heavy duty but don’t expect it to be square as received. You’ll probably have to do some tweaking.

Shop Fox D3070 Aluminum Square, 18-Inch

$6.80

This an Amazon Warehouse Deal, that means there is only one available at this price. If you click the link and there is nothing there, someone already bought it.

For anyone in NW Washington (state): The Bellingham CL has a listing for a rotary phase converter, 10 hp rating, for $50. Admittedly, it looks a bit shabby, but the seller claims it works great.

I’d go for it myself, but my shop is about as full as I can tolerate. I’m aware of the advantages of 3 phase, but I’m getting along fine with what I have.

BTW, I found that if you add a bunch of items to your cart on Zoro (make it over $100) and then wait, they will typically email you a 15% off coupon in 6-48 hours.

Also, Zoro offers a 5% kick back on Upromise, for anyone that is saving up for college for their kids, grandkids, nieces or nephews.

I got a Rockler “preferred customer” coupon in the mail a few weeks ago for 15% off. I didn’t read it too closely until yesterday. I figured it was 15% off one item excluding a bunch of things. It turns out it is 15% off any regular priced item and it is good to use for the month of May (as many times as you like). Not sure if anyone else got this or read the whole thing, but I was impressed that it’s good to use as much as you want for a whole month.

You can get this 15” Shark brand pull-saw through Amazon for $19.99 with free shipping (from the marketplace seller, so you don’t have to order anything else and don’t have to have “prime”).

http://www.amazon.com/Shark-Corp-11-2415-15-Carpentry/dp/B00U91562C?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_16&smid=A36BRIQ5WYZ19T

I bought one – and think it’s a great deal.

Also on Amazon, there is the 9” Shinto saw rasp for $12.81 with free shipping (direct from Japan!) also with free shipping – also a standalone free ship deal so you don’ t have to order anything else. These things are great!

http://www.amazon.com/Ohkubo-Saw-File-S/dp/B001AX0X12?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

Until yesterday the 11” saw rasp was available for $14.50 or so, but it’s an Amazon free shipping only if you have prime or combine with enough stuff to get a $49 order. It went up today to $22. I’ve found that you can put things in your cart on Amazon and watch them for awhile and they go up and down, so you might still be able to get it, but the 9” is still a great deal today.

Actually this shark saw is 10TPI, 15 inch blade.

There is a chance the HF saw is good, and it’s cheaper, but I’ve got 5 or 6 Shark branded saws and like them all.

I’ve bought hinges, slides and screws from both of these companies several times. Their prices, even after shipping, beat the heck out of the prices at the big box stores.

A hint, when buying screws: You are better off buying a thousand at a time. It’s only a few dollars more than the cost for buying a couple hundred.
