Not sure why you wouldnt go with the T28000. I have this on my Grizzly TS and many other tools and have not had a single issue…

I have the D2057A under my almost 600# cabinet saw. Although I don’t move the saw around a whole lot, I can say that this base is very heavy duty and solid. I haven’t read the negative reviews you spoke of but I’m very impressed with this mobile base and highly recommend it.

I have a Shop Fox under my Grizzly and it’s ok but doing it over I’d go with Rocklers all terrain machine bases. I bought three this year for drill press, bandsaw and 6×48 jet sander. Best mobile base I’ve seen. Not sure though if they can expand enough for a table saw. Two large wheels on one end make maneuvering very smooth.

Interesting, I called about the order I am going to place this week, and my sales person suggested the Bear Crawl. Weight it will support is 1200 #, through the end of December, it and the shop fox are on sale for the same price. The SF supports something like 500#.

Are the SF ratings that are poor, actually to do with weight holding, ease of movement? You know stuff that actually matters. So many complainers use the ratings to “get even” with Griz for some unseen slight. I don t read anything except the 1 star, and 2 star. If they are all 5 star somebody is just not using it, and the rest of them love it. That tells me what I already know. It s the dinks, if they are product specific, saying its junk, it probably is.

FWIW I m going with the Bear Crawl. Hearing you switched off it by a sale person. I wonder if they aren t oversold?

Come to think of it on my General TS I believe mine is the SF, but it has to be over 20 years old. It’s a BEAST. If my price to attain is 100 bux or more, I’ll weld one up. That General had it when I bought it, and I saw no reason at all to swap that out.
