Miter set for segments

Looks like a piece piece of gear, but for segmented work, I think the Wedgie Sled is better.

The Wedgie Sled not only lets you set the angle of the miters, but also set the segment edge length (SEL is what determines the circumference of the ring). With the Miterset, it looks like you need a stop block of some sort on the miter gauge fence.

And if Miterset won’t accommodate more than 20 segments to a ring, that could be problematic.

If you are cheap (like me!), the Wedgie Sled plans are free and you can whip one up from scraps yo may have laying around the shop. And a set of wedges costs about US$50.

I used the same stop block system that i use with the wedgie sled. It is attached to the table saw fence not on the miter gauge fence. I agree with you on the 20 pieces
