Have a (newer) Stanley 92 shoulder plane, should I go large or "upgrade" my current 3/4"

If there are other planes or tools you need, then I’d look at upgrading at a later date. I’m sure the veritas is fantastic but I don’t think it’ll be leaps and bounds over a functioning 92.

Me personally, I’ve always just used my widest chisel instead of a shoulder plane so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Thank you for the reply, I can not think of any other planes/tools that I need a the moment. There are some that I would like to have (small plow, jack rabbet, PM-V11 chisels, etc) but I don’t really “need” them at the moment :) A lot of those things would be an “upgrade” over the functioning tools I now have.
