What brand did you get. Some are really noisy my first was and just kept getting louder,so in thinking it might vibrate the crap out your cabinet.
That would be my first concern the venting would be second and easily worked out.

Motor is a TEFC Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled motor, its going to need some air movement.

Sorry about long delay to respond. Got a little crazy around the farm lately. The converter is a Phoenix brand converter. Guy I bought it from said he had to put rubber pads under it to keep neighbors from complaining so I’m guessing it’s not a very quiet motor. I haven’t built the cabinets yet so I’m thinking of doing a heavy custom based of 6×6s to mount it on and then build base cabinet around it. As far as flow I’m thinking a door with a furnace filter for the panel and a exhaust fan of some sort out side of cabinet may make it happy but I’m not sure what kind of heat it will produce.

Oh bummer that’s the one I had.
Mine sat on a concrete slab with rubber feet and it still vibrated the wall.
I sold it because I wanted a bigger one. My service from Edison was upgraded.
I hope it works for you if you add some air flow I think it will be fine.

Hopefully since I sheeted the walls with 1” smartsiding type OSB it’s not as prone to shaking as a regular wall. I overbuilt this shed a bit you could say.

Have your say...
