Why not make a few right angle brakets from wood as well, maybe like 1in square. Put them under each shelf say 16in on one side, then however long the correspong shelf will be. You can tap each side where the stud is, and drop a 3.5 in screw in, then id do a 1/2in recess in the screw holes and cover with dowel plugs.

Yes I have a window in the closet. It’s on the outside wall of my house and use to be a laundry room way back when before I got the place.
JistFL- that’s kind of what I’m thinking of doing. I just wanted to see if anyone else had any better ideas
