Not sure of the design but I would strongly recommend against leaving it live edge unless you completely remove the bark and clean the edges with drawknife/chisels so they are crevice free, finish with mineral oil. -- I've decided 1 mistake is really 2 opportunities to learn.. learn how to fix it... and learn how to not repeat it |

An additional concern would be washing an cleaning the board after use. A good hard polyurethane varnish should be used to prevent the board from warping or twisting. At any rate, you wouldn’t want to aggressively wash it, with soap and water. |
