contact LJ monte pittman he’s the forum guru on using beetle kill pine,if he doesnt know nobody does!

I’ve used Minwax Natural stain w/ poly, and also only applied Poly to bug wood. Both ways had good results. But using it for Flooring I’d use this. This floor wax coat is what we use on our kitchen floor.

If you want to keep it white/blue, use water based finish. Lacquer darkens some and oil based polyurethane turns it yellow/black. [email protected] any questions you have.

Just wondering…what would oil based poly do if applied over the water based finish? Or, would the WB stuff alone be durable enough for flooring?
