Are you talking about the large hex guide rod? It’s a pretty plain 7/8” hex rod that can be found at just about any place that sells metal rod (like a welders supply house). Otherwise, flea-bay is probably your best bet. I believe the newer round ones will work as well, but I have no first hand experience to verify that claim with.

Cheers,
Brad

Hello Brad, thanks for responding. No, it’s not the rod, it’s the piece that holds the guide blocks. I have the whole mechanism, but am in need of the part that holds the cool blocks to guide the blade.

You mean this one?

Those are available all over the place from the usual aftermarket suppliers, like ToolPartsDirect, Mikes Tools, Amazon, Renovo Parts, flea-bay, etc..

Cheers,
Brad

Hello Brad, yes that’s the part, but it’s been said the new re-pros won’t fit a Milwaukee/Delta. Maybe it’s worth trying, and do a little adjusting perhaps. Thanks Brad, I’ll let you know if I do.

Not sure where you heard that, but those brackets have remained the same since those saws were first introduced decades ago. As long as it claims to be a replacement for Delta part #LBS-131 or it’s newer #426-02-014-0004, it should work just fine.

I did have to replace one on my 1950 Delta about a year ago… it developed a crack near the set screw that prevented it from tightening enough to keep the guide block positioned. I picked up a new one from ereplacementparts – which fit perfect and looked identical to the one that was originally on the machine.

Cheers,
Brad

Hello Brad, thanks for the help. I just got through ordering the part from the site you sent. Now the restore continues. God bless, Clarkie.
