Can an LN low angle rabbet plane do all a regular LA block can?

I have one of those planes, and it has become my go-to block plane for general use and tenons. I’m real happy with it.

Yes, it can do anything a block plane can do.

You can pull my rabbet block from my cold, dead hands!

I have other blocks, but the LN rabbet block is the only one I use. The longer I’ve owned it, the more I enjoy using it. I use it on everything – faces, edges, end grain, tenon shoulders, rabbet touch-ups, chamfers, etc. I don’t use it make rabbets, I have a rabbet plane for that. But for rabbet tweaking, yes.

Glad to here all the good reports in favor of the LN Rabbet plane. Just received mine a couple days ago. Haven’t use it yet though.
