You want to look for R# biscuits for that. You probably will not find them in a box store but you can get them on Amazon.

and when you do get your biscuits, keep them in an airtight container
such as an old mayonnaise jar.
biscuits are hot stamped and dried – when they accumulate moisture,
they will swell up and will not fit the groove of the cutter.
this of course, depends on where you live in the world and your ambient humidity.
(a fresh desiccant pack would also help extend the usable life).
if you want to experiment for the strength – cut some slots and install
the biscuit in one board only . . . .then at various time intervals of just minutes,
pull them out with pliers. that will give you an idea of the “open window”
you will have for that particular brand of biscuits.

You could also make your own biscuits if you have trouble finding your size. Check this site for a chart of the different sizes of biscuits; www.woodking.com/wood%20biscuits.htm

Those may be the same size as the Porter Cable minis.

Thanks everyone. I purchased some on Ebay to do the project I’m working on now and to have a few on hand. Not really sure how much I’ll use the tool in the future, but it’s good to know that I can find them or modify others if need be.
