Have you tried adjusting the square to fit the fence? ;)

I had that issue with a router fence I made, and just shimmed it in the front to square it. I’m sure there’s probably a way to fiddle with it to square it without a shim, but shimming is pretty easy.

Try moving the fence tube bolts?

Follow-up:

The two bolts connecting the fence rail, when loosened, allowed some play. Slowly retightening with a square in place did the trick.
