I stopped using a lumber store a few months back after I’d spent thousands of dollars there over a few years because they tired to charge me to make two cuts. I wanted two 1×6x8ft boards cut in half, so 4 foot long. They wanted $2 a cut and the cashier acted like I was insane to think they’d do it for free. I told them to keep them and I’d never be back. That’s a little different than wanting them to make hundreds of cuts tho. Lol. I think some of them folks have been hit in the head to many times

JCamp – I agree with you 100%, and I know for you it’s not the cost, just the principle of having to spend money for two cuts when you’ve spent so much at a store. This store has actually been pretty good. They can be a little pricey, but there aren’t a lot of stores around here that carry their selection, and they don’t try to nickle and dime you to death.
