Hmmm.

A less accurate and less stable saw with a more accurate fence? That would give you a very consistent less accurate and less stable table saw.

Most cabinet saws come with a good fence. At least that is not where they fail first.

The reviews say plenty of people think the Grizzly Hybrids are good saws and are probably plenty accurate. If you aren’t ripping 8/4 hardwood all day then the hybrid should do just fine. Can’t beat the repeatability of the Incra and if you ever do upgrade to a cabinet saw then you just reinstall the incra on it. Keep the hybrid’s fence so that you can sell it with the saw, it would help it sell quickly.

It’s hard to argue the Incra’s precision and accuracy, but is simply way more than many of us need to do good work. Since the Grizzly saws don’t offer the option to buy without the fence, I’d give the stock fence a go before buying the Incra.

Thanks for the feedback. For my level I think the hybrid will be fine. Moving from a 20yo contractor saw I will probably be more than happy with the performance. Need something I can move around my small shop but still be quality. Think I’ll order it after the hurricane goes past us.

For what you say you want the was for the Grizzly Hybred is a good choice to save money. I have good results on my G0771Z. plus it’s 120v, and don’t need to wire for 240v. You can build yourself several sleds for different purposes. and still get a accurate results.

Have your say...
