Why do those not work?
The tongue is 1/4 inch. So wouldn’t you just adjust that part to be 1/8th of an inch above the table? Then flip the boards as you described?

I’m with Shamb3. I have that same set from Lee Valley and I’ve made miles of tongue and groove with it. What part of it does not work for you?

The problem is the 1/2” material.
The tongue is 1/4” then there is a lip that looks to be 1/16 (or bigger). This doesn’t leave much for the bevel
You need a set up without the lip, since your using a Yonico bit look at this one for comparison.
(you would have to set up a fence for to cut the tongue because there is no bearing)

Why are you using 1/2” material? I would think 3/4” min.?

evidently, Yonico have a “Small” V-groove set also. the tongue is 3/8 on this one

I will give this set a shot and see if I get better results
