That woodcraft set goes on sale for half off several times a year(I think), which is much closer to its actual worth. These will not be the straightest bits you might buy.

Typically, it’s just the smaller bits that are prone to breakage – so buying something like that 100 pc kit from Woodcraft will include a lot of bits you will never use or need IMO. I find it easier and cheaper to just get multiple jobber packs of the sizes I use/break the most – which are basically just 1/16” and 1/8” in my case. You can get 7pc packs of HSS titanium coated 3/32”, 7/64” or 1/8” bits for less than $3, and a 7pc pack of 1/16” for under $2 at HF.
