Only because you said it started after triggering the safety…........

Page 45 have you done everything they tell you to do after triggering the safety?

If none of that worked I’d call Steve Gass at home.

No…my table was fine after a brake activation.

Square it up and put it back to work. Even if the brake knocked it out of alignment I’d still lump it in with maintence that has to be done every now and again.

Thanks to everyone who replied, I am just glad the saw is up and running the way it was prior to the brake going off. .

Same. A coworker inadvertently touched the blade with a vise grip squeeze clamp. Haven’t checked the alignment on the SS after it triggered, but haven’t noticed any problems yet. Mainly used for precise edge ripping of biplane wing spars with a 7 to 14° bevel angle, and haven’t noticed it out of alignment…with the fence at least. Very rarely even use the miter slot :)

I don’t have a sawstop (yet) but I check the alignment on my saw once a year. I get a week shutdown at Christmas time every year and do that along with a bunch of other maintenance in my shop.
