Are you talking about a Dremel? Something like this?

What are you trying to spin, a 5/32” diameter stone or a 12” saw blade?

Yes something like that. Maybe I’m fantasizing but I was thinking about attaching it to a .5” shaft on an electric motor turning at 1725 or 3450 RPMs. Something I could use with a wire brush or grinding wheel.

I had one of the Dremel shafts and the run out (TIR) was way too much for my liking so I returned it.
I don’t know if it was just the one I had or if they are all that way.
