Dewalt 734 planer - depth drift?

I noticed my low usage 734, a couple years old, may not be holding depth setting when feeding longer boards.

Had assumed the locking bar was doing it s thing. But just today, noticed the depth control handle was drifting counter clockwise (thicker board) as I was running a wider board through.

Don t really see any adjustment that jumps out, but I will go hunt up the manual. For now, I guess I can just hold the handle while planing.

Did a bit of Googling and seems dull blades may cause this. I have been planing red oak, so maybe that’s it.
