Before pulling out a lot of hair, have you looked at local tool repair shops? I used the info in your profile

In my area B&D had a shop for years, now they have moved to Cinci, and the pickings suck, but back when, even if it was another brand, they said they didn’t carry, they had a part, or a crossover part that would always work. Since then I have found an independent who is better stocked than B&D used to be. He literally has everything, and his reference books are awesome for crossover part picking. I can’t believe he is the only guy in the country like that.

Bill, check here, I don’t know if they have the individual parts you need, you might have to buy more than you want, but they do have the parts.

Thanks Jerry, but as I said, eReplacement does not have the part (#225). They say no longer available.

Still lookin’.

same part number but it says for a sander might work

Lew, that sure does look like the correct part. It does not have the detent for continuous run though that might not be a deal breaker.
Thanks.

You can get a heavy duty foot switch and forget the lock on detent.

I did this for my router table. The switch for the table was not very accessible do I bought one from Harbor Freight. Works great!

I had just posted this in the Great deals thread Peachtree with up to 45% off switches of all sorts if table/machine mounted would work

I got it about a week ago, and sometimes they go for a long while when they have no expiration date, some times they sell out in a few days??? Only way to find out is dump something in a shopping cart, if it says Sorry…... well, we’ve all been there.

Bill, if the new switch doesn’t work let me know, I have the whole base I could send you.
Cord is a little battered but the switch is solid.

Found the switch in an old D handled base that Jbay was kind enough to send to me. Got the router running like new.
That’s what Lumberjocks is all about. Need help, give help. Don’t get any better than that.
