That’s because you definitely “know your way around the shed” my friend !
You are among four or five people who’s projects I regularly click to favorites.

I’ve been back to look at that piece a half dozen times. Recognition well deserved.

Hey Larry, Congrats on the showing :-)) When I first got started here, I used to comment on a lot of projects, but the shear volume doesn’t allow time, especially when I have been out of town for a couple of days and there are 12 to 15 pages of new projects. With that said, the innovative stuff like you have done and are doing will continue to draw comments as well at a bit of praise and much admiration. (maybe even a bit of envy)

You will be number one SOON and deservedly so. I too return frequently to fall into all those little boxes. They really are an amazing illusion. Great work.
..... and yes it is a big deal and not only does it swell our heads when we achieve this recognition from our peers but it makes me for one inspired to make the next one even better. Without this encouragement it would be a lot easier to take the easy road. Thanks to everyone who participates.

Welldone Degoose, You deserve the recognition, I find it hard to keep up with all your projects. I dont know how you manage it.

Thanks Larry for illustrating a point that eludes most of us newbies. Even those most talented and experienced woodworkers suffer their own insecurities and sweat just as much to put together a project. In the end, it may be more polished and the errors much less noticeable, but lets face it… professional woodworkers need love too :) I am glad you were able to witness the affirmation of your work. Might not be a trophy, but it must be a big boost to see so much attention to your work.

Well done Larry,

you ought to be on the first page first spot.
The work you put on your project is amazing.

David mentioned a trophy!! Maybe we need a hot topic trophy to send to the month’s leader. But how would we get it back to send to a new leader? It’s a well deserved honor, even though I can’t keep up with your energy level. I do appreciate seeing the results, even the steel toed ‘thongs’.

-- Robert, so much inspiration here, and now time to work!!!

As everyone else has mentioned Larry… Congrats and well deserved! The big boom is the fact this is not your neighbor, coworker, Aunt Betty, etc.. saying “Nice Work”.... This place is full of folks just like you who crawl into their woodworking caves just like you and make things just like you (well kinda… you know what I mean…lol). To get recognition from peers in the same boat…. Well, that is simply big in my opinion.

Very Cool!
