What are they made of? Can you use a lower density wood so they’re not so heavy? Can you carve away at the profile on a bandsaw so they’re not so heavy?

Do it in smaller sections and dowel them together ….in other words stack them together.

Thanks for the replies… Its pine… But it’s still quite large and makes the lathe shake quite a bit…

It’s too large for my 6 inch height bandsaw but I’m thinking I can maybe lop some pieces off with a saw or power carve it maybe…

I like the idea of doing it in sections…
